Penned, produced and performed numerous hit one-woman shows, from A Barstool Named Desire to her latest, Planet Noble, named ‘Theatre Pick Of The Week’ by the Mail and Guardian in 2006.
Co-conceptualized Madame Zingara’s Theatre of Dreams Arabesque show. Starred in Madame Zingara’s Theatre Of Dreams through 2007.
Has worked as television presenter on SABC3, and radio host for Cape Talk & 702 Talk Radio.
Featured as a guest columnist for magazines including Elle, Marie Clare and Woman & Home.
While continuing to work across the entertainment spectrum, Irit has become increasingly active as a highly sought-after inspirational speaker, with recent nationwide corporate events including Nedbank, Honey Jewellery, BBDO Spencer Stuart, Cavendish Connect and the Cape Coast Chamber Of Commerce.
Irit has emceed South Africa’s only female-focused Women’s Show www.thewomensshow.co.za since it’s inception in 2005.
